http://www.miamiherald.com/news/miami-dade/breaking-news/story/734128.html Brace for traffic during Obama's Miami visit
Super-size traffic delays are expected in downtown Miami Tuesday, when Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama headlines a rally at Bicentennial Park around the same time that the Miami Heat plays a game at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Miami police are expecting 20,000 to 40,000 people to start flooding the area as early as 3 p.m., though the rally is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. The Heat game starts at 7:30 p.m.
Police have no plans to close streets and are urging commuters to use alternate routes in and out of downtown.
The best bet: Metrorail and Metromover.
Officers will assist area residents with getting in and out of their buildings.
Take pics! :-)
