i need one bad
my son created a religion called "the fellowship of ethical existentionalists" in 2005
all legal and approved by the us government 5013c religious organization status
we are non doctrine and non denominational and we have no dogma
any can join without leaving their own religion and mostly we are an organization of people who are trying to do good in our communities outside of jobs and our own churchs,many having political/religious beliefs we dont support.
we wanted to do fundraising for local charities and florida law allows you to do so with raffles and bingo
we chose bingo
using it we have raised maybe 2 thousand dollars for local charities.
food banks the candlelighters breast cancer research
florida law is very clear on bingo
but in palm bay florida a bingo hall has opened that is outside of every rule set by florida law
they payout twice what the law allows and pool "charity" monies
i have been to the palm bay florida police department 4 times to file a criminal complaint
and been refused each time twice because they didnt get the law i was citing
once i was sent from office to office all over town and after sending a certified letter to the chief of police i was interviewed but not allowed to make my complaint
about an ongoing violation of florida law that robs charities of funds
so i have spent all my time for the last 3 weeks trying to get a police department to take my complaint
and gotten no where
all complaints must be filed in the city and they wont take one
in all of DU is there a florida lawyer who will help?

1. have you tried talking to

the local state attorney in your area? They would be best to speak to in something to this- if they cannot help you to file the claim they should be able to direct you to someone that can! If not, you may be able to go to the courthouse and get some help from the clerks department. You are in the 18th Judicial Circuit, Brevard County.
