Source: Police One

MARION COUNTY, FL – Helen Staudinger, 92, was arrested on Monday, accused by authorities of shooting several times at the home of a 53-year-old neighbor who refused to give her a kiss, according to an Ocala.com report.

According to the report, Marion County deputies said that, during an argument with the man, Staudinger refused to leave without a kiss — and returned with a gun when he wouldn’t kiss her.

Staudinger has since said she wasn’t angry about a kiss, but because the man didn’t pay his share of meals when they went out to eat, the report says

There is a Beach Boys'esque song to be written here about the Little Old Lady from Marion County... There's also the Cougar'esque aspect. The victim was actually young enough to be her GRANDSON

1. Oh, well. It's okay to shoot someone for stiffing you when paying for dinner.

8. And then refusing to kiss -- don't leave that out.
It aggravates the offense. ;-)

4. Sure, why not . . .
If she had a child at 20 and that child had a child at 19 . . .

Doesn't sound like that far of a stretch.

9. A 53-year-old was not alive when Wyatt Earp died; but the 92-year-old woman was.
But why judge by the lifetime of a former police constable who was fired from that job for horse stealing?

5. Well, I don't know
many of these old ladies down in Florida have money and have these younger men as escorts to show off at the senior centers. (You know the look a me, I have a young boy friend, types) I which case these younger men expect the woman to pay. My old boss was one of these "escorts" down there and his older "lady friend" paid for everything.

7. Another aspect is the
middle-aged man who befriends an elderly woman in hopes of inheriting her house and money. That happens quite a bit where I live - lots of retireds. We also had a doctor who treated elderly women, not putting their bills through insurance of medicare so he could put liens on their property. He eventually became a wealthy real estate person.

We haven't had any such shootings though.

11. A kiss is worth many meals and a bullet free house.
I mean that is like rule #1 of dating.
