Tampa Bay area- Tuesday Oct. 31. A non-debate and a debate. 8:00pm WEDU

Taped Saturday morning. WEDU (PBS ch-3)

8:00pm- An interview with Congressional District 5 candidate John Russell. Incumbent Ginny Brown-Waite declined to debate. I guess she didn't want to scare anyone on Halloween.

8:30pm- Debate between Phyllis Busansky (D) and Gus Bilirakis (R) for the 9th Congressional District seat.

I left the studio after the Russell taping, and he did a great job. The rest of the gang stuck around for the debate. They said Phyllis absolutely mopped the floor with Gus, and he did a very poor imitation of a moran. I guess he thinks he can just inherit daddy's office.
