GA-12 / Barrow certified. |

http://www.cnn.com/POLITICS/blogs/politicalticker/2006/11/cubin-and-barrow-certified-winners.htmlGood stuff. Barrow is an awesome person, I've met him a couple of times, and couldn't feel any better about his reelection.

1. His sister is very involved in state party politics |
|
She's the state committee member for Morgan County, which is next to my county. She's a fantastic person and I'm thrilled for her that he won again!
And yeah, he's a great guy too!

John is a friend of mine. He used to be one of my county commissioners. I bet Max Burns is really pissed off now! John has beaten him twice in two different districts! It's too bad he had to move from Athens to Savannah in order to run for relection (The GA GOP redistricted him out of his hometown and current residence of Athens, GA. :( ) :woohoo:

That would be Mr. Burns, retired professor from Georgia Southern University, where they held a rally for him with Dubya on 10/30.
THEY ARE DEAD TO ME!!!!!!!!! THAT SCHOOL IS DEAD TO ME!!!!!!! F.U.G.S.

4. Me too! I don't know Ruth but I've met his mother, Phyllis Barrow! |
|
His dad was the legendary Judge Barrow. Judge Barrow's portrait hangs in the main superior court courtroom in the Clarke COunty Courthouse. John is much missed in our city. Our loss is Savannah's gain.
Sorry about Georgia Southern and Burns. At least Bush's visit din't help him at all.
