So, should we all go vote for Nathan Deal in the runoff? |

He'd obviously be the weaker candidate in the general election.

1. As I understand it, you can't vote in the runoff |
|
if you didn't vote in the Rethug primary. At least it used to be that way.

2. If you didn't vote in the primary you can still vote in the runoff |
|
As it turns out I couldn't get in to vote before the polls closed for the primary, so I can still go vote in the repuke runoff. Otherwise you can only vote in whichever party primary you voted in.

5. We might want to assume he/she meant "on the voting rolls as having voted Dem" |
|
as equaling "registered Democratic."
If we're charitable.

7. But the run-off isn't open, is it? |
|
I assumed that if you voted Democratic in the primary you could only vote Democratic in the run-off.
At least, I think that's the case.

6. I voted in the Democratic Primary. |
|
As a result, I can't vote for a Republican in the run-off.
I will say, though, that I happily voted for Georganna Sinkfield earlier today. She was endorsed by Jim Martin, Shirley Franklin, and Hank Johnson. That's all I needed to know.

8. Deal us up by a bit over 2000 votes at 7:30 AM |
|
The newspapers are still saying it's too close to call, but Deal is up. I can well imagine they'll have a recount, and hopefully they'll keep slinging mud at each other through that process.
Nw we need to work out a$$e$ off and make sure that we elect a Democratic govorner come November.
