I spar regularly with this Freeper-type who is the editor of that paper, Stan Hardegree.

The guy is a die-hard partisan Bush boy and psychotic Clinton (ANY Clinton) hater.

I was just wondering if you had seen this newspaper.

I had never here of the Villa Rica Voice, untill you post, however I received a copy in my mailbox today. Give me a chance to read it and I will let you know what I think.

6. Villa Rica Voice

Not something I would pay to read. Publisher must be extreme right, todays editorial about someone(maybe you) who really pulled his chain. The paper today was 12 pages, perfect size for the bottom of a bird cage, local ads. The cartoon today shows Rumsfeld on as the hands on a clock, as if his time is running out, may be an attempt to be fair and balanced. Local interest stories are well written. In summary about what you would expect from a small town newspaper in this part of the US.

I live in Villa Rica...Temple....
Stan is a troll on this site. He wrote about us in the Voice two weeks ago and I called him on it. I wrote a scathing letter to the editor and Stan knows me. He knows I am married to a combat vet, started a vets organization and has covered some of my events..he also knows I am a big time Dem. PM me

But that letter is not the one I wrote...about the intelligence thing. I called him on calling DU and Bartcop posters unpatriotic .
He sent me an email saying I had a legitimate complaint with him but never printed the letter to date.

12. Heh heh. . . Often I don't know about

some bit of local news and am asked "What? Don't you read the paper?" (Which, up here, would be the Rome News-Tribune. Probably a lot better than the Villa Rica Voice but that's not high praise.) My standard reply is, "No, I don't subscribe since I don't have a bird." It sails over most people's heads but the savvy ones always get it.
