FYI: http://www.dcboee.org/information/elec_ey2004_primary/Candidates_List_2004P.shtmI get the sense that at-large member of city council is the big one. Anyone know how you're going to vote? I don't follow local politics very closely. But I did get a door knocker from Kwame Brown's campaign, so that's worth something.

From what I know from people who work inside the dc 'government' the most important thing is to get rid of Harold Brazil, who apparently has long since crossed the line to uselessness. Brown has some skills, no doubt.
The big question, can we advocate the election of a Statehood-Green to the shadow seats? I'm tired of Holmes Norton and her playing along for time. I know DU is opposed to this as a general rule, but c'mon, the DC democratic party is meaningless, as long as they don't fight for representation. And it's not like the Repubs are any threat.
this will be my final communication on the subject, unless I am given permission from the moderator-gods to post on...
