1. Nothing to laugh about, unfortunately... |

As if having a Texas firm keep the master database of voters wasn't bad enough, here in California $chwarzenegger is outsourcing counting of ballot initiative signatures to a firm in India--a country with no privacy laws. So anyone who signs his petitions could wind up the victim of identity theft.
So much for keeping jobs in California. So many campaign promises to break!

calls me a conspiracy theorist, but Texas IS where Bush's real headquarters is stationed (I think the msm call it "White House West")... I'm EXTREMELY suspicious of this plan.

Those of us who live in Texas know this is a testing ground for repuke policies they take nationally. It's no coincidence that the felon voter database information that disenfranchised thousands of voters in Florida in 2000 provided by Choice Point, came primarily from Texas records.
Environmental policies being dismantled, extreme gerrymandering through redistricting to control power, illegal corporate contributions to put repukes in the State Legislature, and now a new national voter database being housed in Texas. Privatizing of jails and attempts do to so for schools. Selling off water rights, you name it, everything is being cooked up in Texas. We're one big lab.
No, I'm right there with you being extremely suspicious. Consolidation of power in one party is very, very bad.
