This is all the Attorney General said Thursday. He won't ask the State Supreme Court to take the case against Planned Parenthood. "The investigation was unwarranted and I'm pleased that we're done at this point," said Betty Cockrum of Planned Parenthood of Indiana.
A state team targeted Planned Parenthood after a fraud complaint. Investigators said they wanted to learn whether Planned Parenthood had neglected 73 of its minor patients by failing to report child sexual abuse. The state wanted access to Planned Parenthood's medical records. Planned Parenthood says it follows state reporting stands in cases of suspected abuse or neglect, and will continue to ensure accurate reporting.
