Obama in South Bend Tues & Wedns
Senator Obama will be in South Bend area on Tuesday and Wednesday. I don't believe it's on his schedule at his website. I don't know if the Bayh announcement is anything more then wishful discussion but it is an opportunity for Hoosiers to check out Obama. Who knew Indiana would be in play in 2008?

all guessing here -- is that Obama plans to announce Evan Bayh as his runningmate on Tuesday. Why? Because the Obama press corps was informed over the weekend they will be in Indiana on Tuesday and Wednesday, yet there are no campaign events in the state on Obama's published schedule.

Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama will stop in Indiana this Wednesday at Concord High School in Elkhart, setting Hoosier political observers aflutter with renewed veepstakes speculation.

Hope some DUR's attend.

1. "Obama will name Bayh his VP choice on Wednesday"

# I just got an invite from the Obama campaign to attend an appearance on Wednesday that isn't on Obama's official calendar. Why not? The campaign said, "I can't tell you what the event is about, but we want to make sure you have a ticket so you can cover it for the Bilerico Project. We want Bilerico Project to be there for this one."

4. Good news!
There are more and more Republicans for Obama groups popping up in Indiana. It's good to see folks so excited. Whether Bayh gets the veep spot or not I think Hoosiers are charged about the fact someone is actually paying attention to our state!
