Poll question: Final Iowa Caucus Poll |
|
I will leave this poll up for the next days. Vote for who you will caucus for. Undecided is an option should you choose that.

Let's face it ... this is as tough a choice as we have perhaps ever had in the caucuses. We are very blessed with our candidates this time around. Especially amongst the top 3 (Clinton, Edwards, and Obama) we have true Democratic and even progressive candidates who agree profoundly on the issues. For all the rancor, these 3 are arguing over style and no so much substance. I cannot help but liken this caucus to the last minute decision on the car lot ... I know the make and model of the car I am going to buy. Do I want the blue one, the gray one, or the yellow one ... and should I go all out and get the one with the sun roof or not?
Let's enjoy the caucuses and all the hoopla this weekend and know that next week we get to have our say on a pretty important decision on who gets a ticket out of Iowa. The tough sell will still be on those in the states that follow.
Peace

See as many of you as possible January 4th at the Democrat so we can start supporting Mr. Edwards campaign for president:) If by some total miscarriage of caucus happens then we can support whoever wins;)

I think I am on the other side of that wall banging my head too.
Right now, it would be Obama for me, but Edwards, Richardson, and even Biden aren't far behind.

We're on our way to see the Senator in Dubuque - probably the last time Debi, Jr. will get to see 'his' Senator before caucus night.

If Biden is clearly not going to be viable in my district and Edwards is, I'll symbolically caucus for Biden and then switch to Edwards.

And then a little more pride in Iowa. Don't want to jinx so won't go into my reasonings until after the caucus.

Although I cannot imagine that Edwards won't be viable.
I am so excited about the caucus this year. THERE BETTER NOT BE AN ICE STORM. Although I bet Mitt Romney is praying for one.

21. The Senator, his staff and his family all treated Debi, Jr. like royalty |
|
The Senator told him that he felt proud when he saw Debi, Jr. at events and as they were taking their final photo and saying good bye he said that Debi, Jr. was a 'campaign supervisor'! Should I let the staff know??
Mr. Debi & I are attending the Sen. Clinton event tonight (even though we weren't invited, read about it in the paper - unlike the Edwards event where we received more than one personal invite..and the Biden event where we received more than one personal invite...and the Richardson event where we received a personal invite - guess Clinton doesn't want 'uncommitted' voters at her events). However, Debi, Jr. has decided to stay home since he already has made his choice.
One note to all Dubuque DUers - the Debi family will be making it a point to go back to the Museum on the river! WOW!! That place is COOL! I was afraid to touch any of the interactive displays during Biden's speech (that would have been funny!). And the alligator was WAY COOL! and the Snapping turtle and the ducks and the turtles and the HUGE catfish! I can't wait to take an afternoon and just spend 1/2 a day going through it. You Dubuquers are lucky!

isn't real. I pretty much drove barge after barge thru downtown.
What of the otters? No mention of the otters.
The Beer Garden place across the bridge/overpass from the River Center was pretty cool too.

I was afraid to try the simulator b/c I didn't want to make noise and disrupt Senator Biden's speech. That's why I want to go back (well, that and the otters now!)
