Jim Nussle authors the largest budget deficit ever! |

We knew you could do it, Jim! And it doesn't even include the WAR ON! Jimmy, you make Iowa proud! He passes on national debt to his children and grandchildren like he cares not one whit about them! Jim could have been our governor, but we turned him away. Yet he was able to take that defeat and carve a historical niche all his own. Give Jim Nussle a tax dollar and he gives 75 cents to his rich buddies and spends the other $1.50. We could have used that kind of common sense as gubernator.
Edit to add - would you like a paper or plastic bag, Jim?

2. Let me add that thanks to Kent Conrad's floor speech |

that I watched a bit of on CSPAN last night the real shortfall is actually around $800 billion. For one year. This would include 2 wars and the theft from the Social Security funds which is around $200 billion. $800 billion divided by 300 million citizens is @ $3,000 of new debt per citizen. So a baby born next year comes in owing $35,000. Might I add that of the 10.5 trillion dollars that will be the national debt when W leaves office about $800 billion was run up by democrats. Nixon, Reagan and Bushco account for the rest.
