Woman caught having sex in Metrodome says she is victim
Edited on Mon Dec-01-08 09:28 AM by CornField
First, if you don't know about the Iowa man and woman caught having sex in a Metrodome bathroom stall during the Iowa-Minnesota game, visit:
http://www.essentialestrogen.com/2008/11/cheating_iowans_get_called_for.html

The woman -- Lois Feldman -- is from Carroll and the Carroll Daily Times Herald interviewed her. Here's that link:
http://www.carrollspaper.com/main.asp?SectionID=1&SubSectionID=1&ArticleID=7048

...

Lois K. Feldman, 38, of Carroll, and Ross M. Walsh, 26, of Linden, were ticketed for indecent conduct after they were reportedly caught engaging in sexual activity in a Metrodome men's restroom handicapped stall during the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers game with the Iowa Hawkeyes. More than a dozen people in the restroom were cheering Feldman and Walsh by the time authorities arrived, a University of Minnesota Police report says.

Feldman acknowledged drinking heavily before the game and says she doesn't remember being in the bathroom.

"I would never ever do that," Feldman said. "My kids are my life. I go to church every Sunday."

...

There's more at the link.

Okay, she messed up -- probably while she was messed up. If you really believe that your drink was spiked, why not scream to high heaven about it? Why not get a toxicology report to see if anything shows up?

I guess with all the other issues to be discussed, this is kinda low-brow... I just take issue with women who use alcohol as an excuse to do something they really want to do, then claim victimhood after the fact. And, yeah, this is what this sounds like to me.

3. You mean a bathroom stall is not a room?
There are some space planning people that would argue that one. I am glad she goes to church though :sarcasm:

4. I wonder if she went to church last Sunday
And if she can't remember what she did while drinking, maybe she should find a Sunday morning AA meeting to attend instead of church.

7. Hmmmm, that's not quite what was written in the DMR article two days before the Carroll DTH article
http://www.desmoinesregister.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20081126/NEWS/81126006

<snip>

Feldman, who describes herself as a light drinker, drank wine at the home of family friends before the football game.

She said she doesn’t remember how much she drank, but the party’s hosts refilled her glass each time it was low “so I’m sure I drank a lot.”

Feldman said her husband later told her he’d tried to talk her out of the game because she was intoxicated.

“He said I didn’t realize it was that bad,” she said.

If the stories are put side-by-side isn't she saying that her family friends purposely drugged her? :shrug:

9. I don't think her drink was spiked
Never saw where it said her drink was spiked. However, I do think she drank waaaaay too much and did something she normally wouldn't have done or didn't realize what she was doing.

12. From the link Cornfield provided
<snip>

But Feldman tells the Daily Times Herald she may have been drugged or otherwise victimized.

"Everybody thinks something got put in my drink," Feldman said.

She offers no further details as to how that might have happened or who may have been involved.

"Right, and that's what my attorney and I are working on," Feldman said.

Contacted this morning and asked if Feldman was planning to file a complaint or seek a reopening of the investigation in Minneapolis, Jeff Minnich of Carroll, Feldman's attorney, said he had no comment.

<snip>

++++++++++++

It might be best if she quit giving interviews since her story keeps sliding around.
