CHICAGO, Illinois (CNN) -- President-elect Barack Obama on Wednesday will announce Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack as his choice for agriculture secretary and Colorado Sen. Ken Salazar as his choice for secretary of the interior, an aide on Obama's transition team and a separate Democratic source said.

Vilsack was a high-profile supporter of Sen. Hillary Clinton during the presidential primaries after he briefly sought the Democratic presidential nomination.

4. Well, they can continue to poison our food and our minds with
bad science and corporate ideology ,respectively, or they could just take us out to the town dump and shoot us right now. I guess they prefer the slow route to our extinction.

6. For Ag secretary he picks a lawyer. For Education Secretary
he picks....another lawyer. I guess the odd thing here is that Vilsack did not go to Harvard at any point. As far as we know. Our government seems to oscillate between Harvard guys and Yalies.
