I'm getting a little tired of the freedoms being taken away complaints
I'm getting a little tired of the freedoms being taken away complaints being made by the tea baggers and other Republicans. Because it's a load of goddamn hypocrisy.

So I sent a LTTE in just now saying as much. I asked where these people were when George Bush and company were feeding the Constitution into a shredder? I wanted to instead ask where these people were when George Bush was wiping his ASS with the Constitution, but I know the letter wouldn't get published then. So I toned it down a bit.

2. My LTTE got published today
My LTTE got published today.

Recently, we have heard from a number of people complaining their freedoms are being taken away. Because the president and Congress are trying to ensure all Americans have health care, trying to shore up our nation economically, and trying to take care of the planet itself we hear repeatedly that somehow freedom is being taken away.

What I want to know is where these people were when George W. Bush and his congressional allies were feeding the Constitution into a shredder? Were they protesting about the loss of freedom then? No. They were busily tripping over each other to heap praise on President Bush and his allies. Anyone who stood up to the real loss of rights was called things like "traitor" or "un-American" by these people who now complain about the supposed loss of freedoms.

I think it is hypocrisy for people to complain about their supposed loss of freedom today when they were silent about the real loss of freedom that occurred under George Bush's watch.

I'm happy now - I have probably been added to a few enemy lists by now.

3. Woohoo!
You don't want to be friends with anybody that would put you on an enemies list for that anyway. :applause:

4. Gotta love the reich wing comments
Our local reich wing contingent had some dandy ones in there - such as betting that I believe in the Easter Bunny and for right now one that thinks I play with dolls. I don't know if that dolls one's going to be there for long though, it'll probably get taken down as soon as a moderator sees it though.
