Attention Iowa City Footy fans!

Some friends are starting a English Premiere League watch at this pub on Saturdays or Sundays for the rest of the year leading up to the world cup in June. The pub is opening for 9:00am on either Saturday or Sunday for now depending on the schedule of matches. If there is interest from fans they would entertain being open both weekend days.
This week it will be Saturday am for Chelsea v. Wolves and Arsenal v. Sunderland.

It is on the same side of the street as Iowa Book and Supply

5. Thanks for the info, Rambis, again.
Off to pick up the M-I-L in Moline. Have a good one! Different sport, but seriously contemplating US-Canada Gold medal game at The Sports Column.

6. Moline?
Quite possibly may show up at sports column. I'm thinking about subjecting myself to an Iowa basketball game later and if I do, I'll get there early and check out the USA-Canada game up there. I'm a fat bald guy who usually wears a ball cap.

10. I think I saw you
Were you wearing a Hawkeye hat? And have short dark hair? I was likely the guy who walked past you when going to the restroom and wearing a hat that says simply "Mule" as in Gov't Mule. I think maybe you were talking to some guy with a shaved head, a large fellow. Anyway, I didn't get there until the second period, had a burger and fries, a couple of Sam Adams, and then I left after the second period. It was quite a game. I see why Crosby is considered the best hockey player out there now.

11. That was me and happy, Bluz.
We saw you. But how do you approach someone?? You looked lost on the way to the bathroom. I thought that was a Brewers hat. I said to happy, no way. Bluz is a Cubs fan. Damn.

9. that's cool Dan agreed to that
HE's pretty accomodating though. It's a great idea for a university that has a decent international flave to it.
