Judge orders sheriff to issue permit

Ugh...

The judge was within his rights to order the sheriff to issue the permit, but still, ugh.

1. Iowa only months from "shall issue" freedom

Thank God Iowa is only a few months away from ending nearly 100 years of discriminatory Jim Crow laws and becoming shall issue. As a certified firearms instructor it is really interesting seeing all persons of all genders, ages, races and political beliefs taking courses to begin the journey of taking responsibility for their own protection.I think with the economy people are starting to realize they might need to protect themselves some day.
