actually said it was over-regulation that caused the egg recall because the regulations "cause" concentration of production into factory farms.
So if we just cut back on food industry regulations, presumably criminals like Jack DeCoster will become model citizens.
Ya gotta love Grassley.

I admit that I'm not the smartest guy around, so maybe I'm not following the logic here. We need to cut back on food industry regs so we don't eat bad eggs? Hey wait! I used to work in the food industry. Maybe I have an idea what I'm talking about when it comes to that industry. So, grassley is full of shit. We absolutely need regulation in the food industry.
