Jim Ryan townhall meeting |
|
Since 1935, Social Security has provided retirement benefits for millions of Americans. As you probably know, strengthening Social Security is one of President Bush's top priorities. Understandably, many people have questions about changing Social Security. Is the current system in trouble? Why does the system have to be changed? Will your benefits change? I want to answer your questions and hear your feedback. For this reason, I am conducting a town hall style meeting with Deputy Commissioner of Social Security, James Lockhart. Here are the important details: Date: Tuesday, March 29, 2005 Time: 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM Location: 2nd Floor of the Memorial Building, 120 SW 10th Street, Topeka, Kansas
I encourage you to attend this important meeting. Please know that this meeting is open to people of all ages, and you should feel free to bring family members and friends who you think would be interested. I hope to see you there. Jim Ryun Member of Congress

2. I think you may be talking about |
|
Sam Brownback. They are both disgusting. It would not surprise me had it been Ryan.

5. Brownback plans to introduce a bill allowing churches to endorse |
|
candidates, so you may be thinking of him. But they're both wackos, and both run (or trip) with the religious Right.

he will never be able to live that down. What a guy, huh?
I am hoping we can actually make this town hall feel worse than that particular stellar moment in his life.

7. I think of it every time |
|
I hear anything from him. I also remember the fact that my mother VOTED for him because he was so brave and courageous after being so embarrassed. Nothing I said or did could stop her, he was a sports hero from Kansas after all.
