New KS AG promises to focus on CRIME, not personal records
:woohoo:

Hopefully one of the first crimes he investigates will be how O'Reilly got a hold of the abortion clinic records that Klein subpoenaed.

Morrison vows focus on crime

By Scott Rothschild

Wednesday, November 8, 2006

Career prosecutor Paul Morrison on Tuesday unseated anti-abortion warrior Phill Kline and became Kansas attorney general in one of the most hard-hitting state campaigns in recent memory.

Morrison, a Democrat, was defeating Republican Kline 59 percent to 41 percent with all but a few hundred of the state’s precincts reporting results.

“I’m going to remain focused on fighting crime, making communities safer and protecting Kansans from fraud and abuse,” Morrison said. “Tonight is a victory for people that believe the attorney general of this state should above all else enforce the law in a fair and even-handed way.”

1. Isn't it sad that it's so exciting to hear an AG promising to focus on crime?
Says a lot about what we've had to put up with from PhilL!

2. I saw a little bit of the Bill-o show last night
(I've been watching Fox every once in a while just to watch them whine) and they had on some woman from Kansans for Life. She was saying the Klein still has a few more months to push the his anti-abortion cases.

on the bright side, Klein's anti-abortion side kick Bryan Brown is onhis way out too. "(Morrison) said Bryan Brown, a former anti-abortion protester and head of the attorney general’s consumer affairs division 'won’t be heading the unit.'" http://www2.ljworld.com/news/2006/nov/08/color_kansas_purple/?elections_2006 Let's hope Morrison cans Brown altogether and cleans out the office of everyone else with an agenda that doesn't comport with the AG's office.
