Just got back from a Mongiardo rally!
He's so handsome! :loveya:

There was a group of elderly women behind me that just could not STOP talking about how good looking he is. It was so cute!

It was a nice rally. Lots of Bush and Bunning bashing which was hilarious, but more than that - a message of HOPE, of we can and have to do BETTER. Very inspiring!

Dr. Dan is on his way as I type to Whitesburg, expected to speak at 7:45pm.

1. Ron Faucheux now has --
-- this race as 50-50. Bunning is crashing. May the good doctor prevail in Kentucky!

But I've been thinking good thoughts for him since his first commercial. I hope Bunning goes down hard and he takes Anne with him. I hate her more than sodrel

3. Bunning may lose but....
I'm afraid Northup may win, unfortunately. The race for the 3rd district seat was close about a month ago, but Miller has had nothing but negative publicity all throughout his campaign. What is really getting to me is how all of these pretend Democrats (especially Denise Bentley, the metro council representative that has eternally pretended to be a Democrat in a mostly African American district while voting working against the interest of her own constituents) are jumping on Northup's bandwagon this year.

I'm more optomistic about Mongiardo though :)

4. Kerry will win Louisville, and that will help Miller. I hope you find
a pleasant surprise Tuesday night.

Dr Dan will win. In my canvassing here in Lexington, I have found many bush supporters voting for Dr Dan.

5. I sure hope you are right...
I'm just concerned that Louisville is slowly moving over to the dark side (the right-wing). I live in what is supposed to a liberal part of the city, and it is depressing seeing all of the pro-Republican signs this election year. I'm certainly not going to give up though.
