Head stomping bagger Tim Proffit, District Court on 7 Dec
10-M-12919COMMONWEALTH VS. PROFITT, TIMOTHY MARK
(PRETRIAL CONFERENCE)
1 0007960 ASSAULT 4TH DEGREE MINOR INJURY 0L3201244

Tuesday 7 Dec '10 Fayette Co District Court Room #3 @ 10:00 AM As in every court system; time subject to change.

Probably will be continued but I don't work that AM , may go down and represent. This complete bastard needs to feel some shame but he has rationalized his innocence. A fair trial and a flogging in Cheapside Park would be apropos.

1. Former Rand Paul volunteer's hearing on an assault charge
is rescheduled. Saw this coming.
The pretrial hearing for Tim Profitt, 53, of Bourbon County was scheduled for Tuesday but was continued to Jan. 11.
Jennifer True, an assistant county attorney, said the hearing was rescheduled to "gather further discovery."

Former Paul volunteer back in Lexington court

LEXINGTON, Ky. — A former Rand Paul volunteer accused of kicking a liberal activist during Kentucky's fall Senate race was back in court Monday.
Tim Profitt has asked a judge to dismiss a misdemeanor assault charge he faces after a scuffle outside a U.S. Senate debate in October.
Profitt argues that he was justified under a state law that allows the use of force "in defense of a third person." Profitt's attorney Michael Dean says Profitt was protecting Paul.
Fayette District Court Judge Kim Wilkie gave attorneys 10 days to submit additional documents. Wilkie says he will make a ruling on the motion to dismiss sometime after that.
News footage showed liberal activist Lauren Valle being pulled down and stepped on by a man after the Oct. 25 debate.
