Liberal businesses in Louisville
I was just thinking how nice it is to support other Liberals. I am going to Cinci in a couple of days and would love to know where the more liberal areas are, so I can support those businesses.
Anyway, thought I would share an experience we had during the election.

A bunch of us had our Kerry gear and our signs and hubby wore his Bush/cheney costume (I will post a pic) we had been rallying at the ninth street exit and on ramps downtown. Afterwards we decided to go to Fourth Street Live, the girls at Hard Rock Cafe let us sit out front with our signs and hubby's costume while we had dinner and a much needed beer. So, support them cause it was pretty awesome.
Lets start a little thread going on what businesses are liberal around here or at least are supportive to our cause. It would really help out visitors to this area, and us as well. And I guess we should include other cities as well, and if anyone can help me out with Cinci that would be nice.

peace.

Here we are in front of Hard Rock Cafe

Hubby's costume up close...a real crowd pleaser

1. Heine Bros. Coffee
They had signs up opposing the war in Iraq back before it started. Ever since then I have basically been a Heine Bros. addict. Not to mention you can't find a drink like a frozen capuccino anywhere else. I don't know why other shops don't make anything like them...

2. They don't advertise as this is a very Red city
I'll ask around. I'll guess Clifton, around the University is very blue.
