1. I'm going to vote no on everything |
|
The bonds always pass anyway, but I can't willingly vote for a tax increase.

4. Because four terms is enough for most of these idiots |
|
If that's the only way to cycle them out, let's leave it how it is.

And we could always vote them out after two years.

Which is the problem. And yes, based on their actions, I'd guess the majority of them are idiots.

democracy...
Term limits was gimmick dreamed up by Newt Gingrich et al. at a time when GOPers couldn't get elected fair and square.
I've never liked them.

11. You sound like an "idiot." |
|
To throw out shallow, short-sighted, numb comments like "They are idiots" is idiotic itself and a display of juvenile ignorance. Our legislators are not "idiots." They are intelligent, hardworking people who sure as all hell don't do it for the money. They do MANY damn good things for us, and they put in hours the likes you may have never imagined. I know a good many of them personally in my area, as well as other local elected officials, and I know the kind of effort they put in. O resent your foolheardy comments. Public service such as serving in our legislature is an honorable calling, and these folks damn well deserve some credit. If you don't like what they do, then go run for office yourself instead of sitting there spewing out your own obvious brand of idiocy, or ignorance at the very least.

My friends in Washington County really feel the need for the casino. I've always voted against any gambling but I'm leaning toward supporting it at this point.

going to pass voting on the racino, and going to vote no on the county commissioner thing for Cumberland county as I have not heard any explanation as to why we need to go from three to seven.
