1. Just voted - fair amount of people at the poll
and it couldn't have rained any harder.

The medical marijuana petitioners had dozens of signatures - the Son of Tabor dude had only a half dozen (if that).

2. UPDATE: Early voter turnouts steady
http://news.mainetoday.com/updates/018200.html

Town clerks are reporting respectable voter turnouts at the polls today, despite the rain, windy weather.

About 40 people were waiting in line to cast ballots at 7 a.m. at the Falmouth High School gym, said Town Clerk Kathleen Babeu. "Falmouth tends to be steady," she said. "People come out to vote."

In Gorham, Town Clerk Christina Silberman said 821 people had voted by 9:30 a.m., including 200 absentee ballot.

"Gorham's pretty active," she said. "All the wardens are reporting steady activity."

3. Checking in as voted.
Looks close on the racino so far.
Sadly, term limit extensions looks like it's headed down in flames. :(

And here in Cumberland, surprise surprise, the 4 extra commissioners wont pass. Why, because no one ever said why on earth we needed four more, hence no way anyone votes for it.
