I'm afraid that this is just the start of major developments of our rural areas. with the selling off of paper mill woodlands many of lakes and ponds will see development. new york state has a large area that protects over development of its lakes. this law was enacted years ago. years ago we went to lake st. George area and visited several lakes in that area. it would be a shame to see some of these jewels look like the sebago chain-wall to wall cottages.

But I'll admit I don't have all the details. It just seems like too much development to me.
Lily Bay State Park is great and the area around it is lovely. I think we need to keep some of Maine the pristine area it is.
