Warren — Clifford James-William Perkins, a 26-year-old white male wearing jeans, a blue shirt and a gray baseball cap, escaped from the Bolduc Correctional Facility in Warren Saturday.

Perkins was reported missing from Bolduc shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday.

Perkins is serving time for burglary and theft. He is described as being 5 feet 7 inches in height, weighing 140 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Perkins has a tattoo of a scorpion on his left shoulder.

The inmate has family in Old Orchard Beach.

His escape comes two weeks after a pair of inmates escaped on a Saturday night. Robert L. Fogg, 27, and Arden Shaw, 36, were free for one week before being caught by police in Westerly, R.I. The two waived extradition for return to Maine. Fogg and Shaw had been in prison for burglaries and thefts.

Anyone having information in regard to Perkins' escape should notify the Maine State Prison at 273-5300 or any law enforcement agency. Collect calls will be accepted.
