or possibly a bit beyond and I'm kicking myself for not having gotten in a few good photographs. The recent heavy rain and wind appears to have blown away much of the gorgeous yellow, red, green and gold leaves and I can't help but lament the brief opportunity I had and lost... to capture the beauty.

I had planned to take a leisurely ride north up the Old Canada Road Scenic Byway this weekend for mainly leaf peeping and picture taking and probably still will, but can't help but wonder if I haven't missed out on the best of it. I could've done it last weekend but didn't. Instead, I was thinking that getting the wood done was more important, and that there still was time for such frivolous, out-of-stater type activities.

There's always next year... Odd how I always seem to say the same thing every year... x(

Just commenting on the beauty of fall here in our great state. I don't think about politics 24/7. Sometimes it's nice just to enjoy the moment. How's it looking in your neck of the woods?

I haven't forgotten about the election though. I'll be back on that bandwagon w/a letter to the editor supporting Libby no later then the end of this week. I don't dare to wait any longer because they are likely to have a deadline. They usually do.
