WWRC (Washington DC Progressive Radio) Dumps Imus. |
|
Replaces with Rachel Maddow. He was not compatible with their format.

I heard about it last week. It's about time that addle-brained idiot Imus was put out to pasture.

3. I thought it was great too! |
|
I'm sick of listening to Imus try to be political, but ending up just rambling on about nothing and not making any sense.
Good Riddance, Imus.

He is a progressive who can attract groups to our message who wouldn't be attracted by other progressvie talkers.
Its just a case being able to produce messages that will resonate with each demographic. He can take care of working class Democrats in ways that Franken and Rhodes cant.
Althogh I perfer Al Franken and Randi Rhodes, I do listen to him. The sports commentary isnt a favorate but its good for attracting and building his audience.
I wish that WWRC would put on a local talker in the morning, but I think that will come with time.
Only downside to the station is that its owned by Clear Channel.

11. WWRC is NOT owned by Clear Channel |
|
Clear Channel sold WWRC (and WTEM and WTNT) to Dan Snyder's Red Zebra Broadcasting last summer. And Al Franken hasn't had a radio show for a couple of years.
