for a local Democratic club.

I hope you guys have great turnout though. O'Malley and Cardin need Gansler and Franchot to help them bring it home in Montgomery County!

2. I was there!
With another volunteer, I had just gone on a literature drop from that morning until the afternoon. We were both pretty exhausted after going door to door, but I decided I had to go to the rally.

I was pleased to see that Ben Cardin could really fire up the crowd!

And Doug Duncan, who was there to lend support, particularly to O'Malley and Brown, received repeated standing ovations.

4. I had stepped out of the room for a moment when...

...the run-up to O'Malley's speech was occurring (Naturally, he was last on the roster). Therefore, I didn't get the full effect of his opening. He was already on the stage, of course.

However, both he and Anthony Brown have got charisma to spare and were masterful at exciting the crowd. Both projected great confidence and ease. The seem to be naturals.
