GOP Turnout Very High in my Precinct |
|
Okay, I'm paranoid. Turnout in my profoundly republican precinct was 31% at noon -- I'm told that's high. I live in the Baltimore suburbs...

2. We just got back from walking neighborhoods and knocking on doors ....... |
|
..... in Howard County. The turnout here appears very heavy. Our local precinct was the heaviest I have ever seen it in almost 30 years living here. Others at the polls were saying the same thing. We voted just before noon, when its normally a ghost town and had to wait in line. That's simply never happened before. Ever.
Walking the neighborhoods and door knocking for the GOTV effort, those who said they'd already voted were also reporting heavy turnout. Then when we got back to O'Malley's Howard County HQ, they said they're hearing reports of heavy turnout across the county. I can't believe people wanting more of the same would be out voting that heavily.
