How soon we getting rid of the 'Governor Robert Ehrlich' off the Welcome to Maryland signs
I had to fly out of Baltimore and I got pretty sick and tired of seeing that repuke on state signs. So glad that Maryland came back to the blue side!

1. They're on the Wilson Bridge, too.
East Coast politicians seem to have a fetish about getting their names on public works projects. Chicago and NYC are best examples. On the West Coast, the politicians have to die to get their name on a building or bridge or airport or the sewage treatment plant.

8. They're down on I-95.
My son noticed that the toll lane project near White Marsh had the Gov. O'Malley change the day he was sworn in. Woo!

2. Those signs repulse me also. I assume around the first of the year

they will come down. I lived in CT for many years and had to endure "Governor Rowland" , and "Governor Pataki" in NY

:puke:

4. Well he's technically still the governor until the swearing in
so I guess they'll leave them up until then.

7. What O'Malley said about the transition....
it's like having your two feet firmly in two stirrups on two different horses going different directions.

5. It seemed like they had a major surge right before the election.
I can't wait to get rid of them.

and slowed down to make a right turn, the guy behind me speeded up, went around me and made a right turn right in front of my car, I had to avoid hitting his car. Then I saw an Ehrlich bumper sticker in his car, figures. I let him know what I thought of his rudeness and wondered if he was pissed seeing me hybrid car (those tree hugging hippies!). Repukes are sore losers.
