Seller of Impeach buttons arrested
I imagine if he were selling pro-Bush buttons he would be allowed to sell them at the farmer's market.

Kensington, MD man arrested For "Impeach Him" buttons

CBS/AP
"A 74-year-old retired mathematician who sells anti-Bush buttons at a Maryland farmers' market has become a symbol of free speech to some people. Others say Alan McConnell is a nuisance."

Snip

"Town officials had previously warned McConnell about peddling his political wares at the market (he is accused of being "aggressive" in his pitch), and had cited him for selling merchandise without a proper permit.

McConnell was also warned that he would be arrested if he returned to the market, even though it is public property."

He was arrested during the weekend and faces 90 days in jail and/or a $500 fine for trespassing

1. Talk about double standards!
I hope he gets out but he should have gone to Takoma Park first, where he would have been welcomed very nicely. The story didn't say which farmer's market he went to where the arrest happened. In any case, he should do it again to get the message across to those who listen! Any supporters should help out the merchants though and do some shopping while they're at it.

2. It was in Kensington

I can see why he went there, though. Selling pro-inpeachment buttons in Takoma Park is like preaching to the choir. It's much more important to reach out to other areas and spread the message.

3. Hell, the Larouchies Were Outside of the Post Office
Today doing much the same thing. Interestingly enough, Kensington is in in Montgomery County, which is fairly liberal.

4. Insurance Agency in Glen Burnie Maryland
I recently was shopping for car insurance; I contacted my current broker and they could not find anything cheaper for me. They were actually pretty rude! I don't know what it is with people nowadays but I think they lost all sense of customer service.

I called Metropolitan Insurance Group LLC; located in Empire Towers Glen Burnie and they were just as nice as can be. They saved me money, along with very friendly people. I just wanted to pass this information on to other people in AA county, they saved me about $800 per year and I told Joe that I would refer people.

Metropolitan Insurance Group LLC offers Homeowners, Car insurance, Life, Health and Business Insurance. Their website is http://www.metroins.biz and their phone number is 410.766.5855 . If you call, ask for Joe, he is really helpful and I would recommend him to anybody

I am just posting to try and help their business make some referrals. They are really great people over there!
