The Middlesex County Clerk of Courts Michael Sullivan will not be running for re-election as a Cambridge City Councilor. He endorsed his cousin Edward Sullivan Jr. the son of the recently deceased Clerk Emeritus Edward J. Sullivan Sr. as his replacement. The statement announcing this changing of the guard was made rather fittingly in the Sullivan Chamber of City Hall named for Michaels grandfather. Michael stated the demand of the two jobs was too time consuming and that he wanted more time to spend with his family
