Senate debate was a snoozefest. |
everybody way too chummy and playing it way too safe. For Coakley alone, its a good strategy, just run down the clock.
Come On candidates mix it up a little! One of them better inject a little passion.

2. The moderator was the reason, I think. |
His questions were softballs.

3. Peter Meade? Where did they dig him up? |
he would ask a question and in the sake of time make them answer quickly and then cut them off and say something like, "I get it. I know where you are going with this". He did this to Pagliuca, candidate I support Mitt Romney against Senator Kennedy. There was no exchange between the candidates. It was the Peter Meade Show. He asked a question about when was the "moment" that you thought you should run for the Senate. Because no candidate gave him the "moment" he wanted he complained that no one was willing to answer the question. It was as though he expected someone to say the minute Ted died, I knew I wanted to be a senator.

4. He should have asked Pagliuca about his support of Romney over Kennedy |
That would have been a big service to us all.
