It's been awful quiet here lately from the usual Skinner supporters. No post from Sharon at all about Nancy's performance at the 9th District forum. Very unusual.
So, what's up, Sharon?

I work for a company that may close after 30 years. We are based here, but suffer because of Bush 2...with a bit of Teddy Kennedy. (No Child and other stuff, in case you cannot figure that out.)
Sharon and I both have personal lives which we care about deeply. I see to it that my WW2 dad hero does what he is supposed to, and mom, who lost her first husband from the same war, feels OK.
Sharon has been saddled with an impending loss of her mom, along with other stuff. You want blood, so take it.
I know Sharon a lot less than you think I do. What I do know is that every time we have encountered each other, we are one in spirit. You don't feel that Bruce. You have agendas beyond something I cannot comprehend. I got really involved because of my traffic Accident drunk driver thing 5 years ago, although I have voted straight Dem since 1982.
Nancy has touched my life, and the connections I or she cannot explain are there. To be honest, Nancy and I have never talked for more than 5 minutes. Why would I battle for someone I haven't had hours of conversation with if I did not feel or see things? You no nothing about me, I guess, nor should I expect you to. You do however, have high T against Nancy, and folk I talk to that support Gary think you need to just stop your tactics.

2. That's the first I heard about Sharon's mother |
|
And it's perfectly understandable that Sharon's first priority is her mother.
As for you, your defending Nancy at every turn to the detriment of the party and putting a real progressive in the seat that has been held by Joe Knollenberg, defies logic.
If you want to take back this seat for the Democrats, let's unite behind Gary Peters and get this show on the road together. Nancy just doesn't have the horsepower to get it done and somewhere deep in your brain you know that.
Gary is a great candidate and is right on all the issues we care about as Democrats.

3. If you really cared about Nancy |
|
you would take her aside and lovingly tell her that for the good of country and herself, she needs to take a good hard look at reality and step aside and enthusiastically endorse Gary.
I don't expect that you'll do that. Just as Hillary Clinton is now probably getting that advice from a few loyal supporters around her, you and Sharon and Nancy's other supporters can lovingly do the same thing.
It's time, before she puts herself in personal bankruptcy trying to keep her campaign afloat. To what end? There are no substantial policy differences between Gary and Nancy. They both want out of the war. They both feel our trade agreements are a terrible for the United States and especially Michigan. So what does Nancy gain by continuing to fight? She can say to her friends and family, "I'm running for Congress." Which I admit is pretty impressive sounding.
