DeVos Supports Intelligent Design
Today, the AP reported that DeVos supports the teaching of Intelligent Design in Michigan Classrooms

"I would like to see the ideas of intelligent design — that many scientists are now suggesting is a very viable alternative theory — that that theory and others that would be considered credible would expose our students to more ideas, not less," DeVos told The Associated Press this week during an interview on education.

All I have to say is this is terribly in line with his beliefs as a dominionist! He wants religion to take over the government. I guess his strategy is to get 'em while their young and in science class. DeVos wants to turn everyone into religious clones. Appalling!

2. Since students are not likely to be tested on this idea...I think
that parents should insist that their kids be able to opt out of this instruction.

3. The Amway Ayatollah wants madrassah's, not schools.
The cretin seems to regard stupidity as a virtue. :puke:

5. Er.... on second thought, here's what Dick REALLY meant to say:
He MEANT to say that he would support local districts if they wanted to teach creationism ER, I mean "intelligent design". That's what his aides said he really meant to say.

6. The REAL story behind Amway Dick's Intelligent Design...
Dick doesn't even know what he's talking about. The only reason he's running is because Betsy wanted to, but she's too big of a b*tch to get more than 5 votes. So, she's got her husband running while she stays at home, WAY out of the spotlight, hoping everyone will forget about her. Except, that is, when it comes to his policy positions. Intelligent design is a Betsy issue, I don't think Dick even knows what Intelligent Design means - he probably assumes it's something about making soap bottles more efficiently. It's just out there to pump up the Repuke base.
