Drive in snowy conditions? A few reminders:
1. Turn INTO the spin if you start to spin out
2. Stay at least double the usual length between cars as normal
3. Go slow*, as the "Speed limit" sign reads 55 but doing that on ice and snow is dumb
4. Don't tailgate. See point 2 for more info, especially if some nimrod does and causes an accident

* that should be a national speed limit, 30MPH. The amount of gas saved would be phenomenal, people would drive more relaxed, and society needs to learn how to slow down in general.

Happy blizzard tomorrow, y'all! :D

1. A 30 mph speed limit would cause me to grind my teeth
except on days like this when I find 30 mph to be way too fast.

I'm so thankful I can work from home and that's just what I'll be doing tomorrow.

Stay safe everyone! :hi:

2. How about another:
5. You DON'T need to fucking slow down or stop to gawk at the car that spun around into the guardrail ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD. Oh wow, a car with a smashed bumper. Never seen that before, better take a good long look. Ooh, a police car with its lights flashing! Neato! Better creep along to take this all in, wow, what a sight!

5. Stay out of the left lane.
If you're not passing anybody, stay out of the left lane! There are people who may wish to go faster than you, and hogging the left lane only causes faster vehicles to weave in and out of traffic lanes.

Of course, this also applies when the streets are clear.

7. I swear I never saw people drive in the left lane until I moved to MN.
Drove me damn near up the wall for years.
