1. Sorry. No public funds for professional sports stadiums.
Our kids in Minnesota need education funds. Our infrastructure is crumbling. Our poor can't get the health care they need.

Zygi will just have to pay for this himself, or get his fans to do it.

3. I'm so ashamed. Of course a $1 Billion stadium for the Vikings
is the most pressing need in Minnesota. How could I have been so stupid?

4. It is Monday morning
so you can be excused for lack of honest reasoning.

But on Tuesday there is no excuse.

6. Zygi could build it with his pocket change
I am so sick of corporate welfare, especially when the Obama administration is about to build its whole "health care" program on corporate welfare.

5. WE do not need a new stadium
for that matter, the Vikings don't really need on either, they just want one. But, the stadium they're playing in now is the one they wanted. If they think they need a new one they can build it themselves.

From my perspective, the Twins are "our" team - but I didn't support using public money for their new playground either.

7. They can have their stadium if they pay for it.
I don't want to pay for it. The poor people of this state who just got their medical benefits cut sure as hell don't want to pay for it. Have Ziggy get out his checkbook, buy his damn stadium, and let us taxpayers pay for something useful.
