2. I wonder what she'd do if the vote on a case was 4-4 and she had to cast the tie breaker? n/t |

3. Intresting possibility |

Of course keeping the Senate seat would not be a given for the DFL. Amy is all but reassured reelection but someone else would not have easy a time.

She was a so-so county attorney; she's been a disappointment as a Senator; and she certainly does not have the intellectual/academic/judicial background you normally expect Supreme Court justices to have.
I can't imagine her being seriously considered. Anyhow, even though she's a mediocre Senator she's still a Democrat, although a weak and spineless one. If she got another job Timmy the Tool would appoint some wack job Republican to replace her.

5. She lacks a conscience. There nothing wrong with Sen. Cruella Klobuchar that ... |

A completely new personality wouldn't cure. I get the sense that there is something fundamentally amiss about her. She seems to have an insatiable desire to please and to avoid controversy -- to be the perfect codependent daughter of an alcoholic that she indeed actually is.
Is she the kind of spineless conscienceless person we should have in the Senate? Obviously not. Do we want some with her frightening lack of conscience on the Supreme Court? Scary.
