Michele & Marcus Bachmann $3,814 in arrears on 2009 property taxes
Congresswoman Michele Bachmann should spend more time in Minnesota. She might remember to pay her property taxes.

According to Washington County Property Tax records, as of May 20, Michele and Marcus Bachmann were $3,814 in arrears on their 2009 property taxes for their million-dollar West Lakeland Township mansion. That includes an apparent penalty of $74.80 accrued already. The taxes were due May 15. Their total property tax bill for 2010 is $7,480.

As always, DumpBachmann has the scoop:

1. She is anti-taxes you know. Maybe she needs to cut back on clothing, botox,
medications, parties and travel?

3. Aren't the Bachmanns the type of people "tax litigation attorneys" prosecute?
I wonder where they could find one?

Prior to serving in the U.S. Congress, Bachmann served in the Minnesota State Senate. She was elected to the Minnesota State Senate in 2000 where she championed the Taxpayers Bill of Rights. And, prior to that, Bachmann spent five years as a federal tax litigation attorney, working on hundreds of civil and criminal cases.
