I have $67 in my bank account. Payday is Thursday. I tried to fill my 'script for mu asthma med today. The copay has jumped from $25 to $80. The thing that makes me crazy is that without the med I could end up in ER this week and that will cost BC/BS a lot more than $80-$25= $55.

1. I share your outrage. Private health care is totally corrupt.

I have a friend who was denied admission to an alcohol treatment facility because his other health issues (which are exacerbated by his alcoholism) are a liability risk.
