2. The asshole is gone

I should say the worst asshole. He is the reason channel 5 dropped the board from their website. So now it's just a bunch of dumb conservatives. And a couple fundies. They are so easy to debate it's not even funny. But the balance is off. We need more lefites.

The gal that started this site is great. She is fairly liberal. A bit moderate but definitely NOT a rightie. She also moderates the board and has promised to kick any assholes off. And I believe she will keep her word.

So I agreed to join. So far, it's been fun. BUT we need more liberals. Compared to DU, it is kindergarten debate level. I can get great thread starters here and I have already posted some incredibly articulate DUers responses that have blown those righties out of the water. (See, you don't even have to do your own thinking:) )

Here is an example - I posted a bit about Clinton's high approval ratings when he was impeached, comparing those numbers to bush's current low approval ratings. One of the fundies replied that the pollsters probably just polled blue states! No link, no data, just a stoopid opinion. That is as articulate as it gets most of the time. After I got over my WTF? thoughts, I found a great article explaining how polls are conducted. And I am sure the fundie fool will not respond to that. She isn't a deep enough thinker.

There are also a couple of us posting stuff from the flying spaghetti monster website. I can already smell the anger from the fundies. They have started a bible quotes thread and a leftie guy posted some horrific bible verses about throwing kids against the rocks and killing them - LOL.

I can't tell you how much fun it is to put fundie fools in their place. It's a chance to put all those years in Catholic school to good use. I know the nuns would be proud of me.

I'm with ya on the Revenge of the Recovering Catholic. We can throw scarier shit back at them than they got for us. Mostly.

I'll browse for a bit at firtst, cuz I have a lot of work to do to get my business working. But I will post soon.
