Breaking: McCaskill to be at the Joplin Public Library!

There is actually some breaking news for the Democratic Party in Southwest Missouri. Despite what Roy Blunt says, this is not a "Democrat free zone."

On March 2, at 11:30 AM., Claire McCaskill will be coming to the Joplin Library Large Conference Room to listen to any and all opinions on the state of the Medicaid cuts, prescription drug problems, and any other questions you might want to ask Claire. She is the sitting State Auditor and is now an announced candidate for the U.S. Senate race against Jim Talent.

We have often complained that the state wide candidates ignore Southwest Missouri. Well now, they're not ignoring us. Claire will be here. We need to show her and all the other candidates that there are people in Joplin who are interested in Democratic candidates and who will show up for an event.

Now is the time for all good citizens to come to the aid of their party. We need bodies to fill the Library to capacity.
