Somebody still has a notalent sign in their yard here
I'm wondering if the house is empty, we'll be going past it tonight on the way home, I'll check for signs of life then.

Which brings me to the question, would it be wrong of me to pull that offending thing out of the ground and leave it lying in the street?

1. Could be an empty rental house
The landlord may be just too lazy to remove it

3. It's gone
The house was empty, someone was moving in yesterday and the offending signage was gone.
