Questions wanted for candidates' debate | Montana Standard
Questions wanted for candidates' debate
By The Montana Standard Staff - 08/21/2004

The two contenders for the governor's office will face off in a public forum at Montana Tech at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21.

And the voting public of southwest Montana is being asked to submit questions it wants answered.

Gubernatorial candidates Brian Schweitzer, Democrat, and Bob Brown, Republican, will answer questions at the Tech auditorium. The free, public forum should last about 11/2 hours with a reception to follow for the public to meet one-on-one with the candidates.

1. Flathead/Lake/Sanders/Lincoln County DEMOCRATS
Fellow Democrat,
I run the Coordinated Campaign Office/Schweitzer Project here in Kalispell. And we are looking for volunteers to help out with the Schweitzer campaign as well as local/statewide campaigns. We are located at 155 N. Main Street (Next to Moose's Saloon!) If you're interested in getting involved, email me or come on in (No Loyalty Oath Needed)
We held a Neighbor 2 Neighbor Victory Training Seminar on saturday (Volunteer training) and 50 people showed up, standing room only. We have Democrats in this valley who have been in hiding and are sick and tired of being pushed around and are ready to win back our country!
I've heard stories of hundred's of signs being stolen on the eve of an election, Posters with Derogatory comments about Candidates In a Fair parade...but we, WE will OUT-WORK and OUT-CLASS these people in 2004!

2. Thanks for the tip...
Would you mind posting when these debates will be on radio, please? I'm not always able to watch the notices in the newspaper closely. Thanks!:hi:
