Mom says dad punched son who struck out twice

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

A father apparently upset by his son's performance in a youth league baseball game beat up the 9-year-old boy, his mother told police.

In a report she filed with police, his mother said the boy suffered a black eye, fat lip and bruises to his head.

3. My son played only one year of little league
He played T-Ball, but that's all. The parents are not sane.

7. That's why I didn't want to play Little League...FORTY YEARS AGO!
I saw how the other dads chewed their son's asses and figured the LAST damn thing I needed in my life was one MORE reason for my old man to holler at me.

8. Baseball was usually an enjoyable experience for us.
One Omaha team in particular that was considered about the best in the state were absolutely terrible to their kids. My sons team beat them, afterwords the parents of the opposing team wouldn't even talk to their kids.

There were other teams that blatantly cheated. Our 9 year olds had something like a 33 and 3 record. The rumor was they were undefeated. During a tournament that we held, a team from Colorado was eliminated. A local team that was scheduled to play us had some of their weaker players give up their uniforms to Colorado players to win.
