Nebraska Democratic primary might still count for president
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska Democrats might be able to make their May primary relevant to the close presidential race between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama even after holding caucuses last month.

As it stands now, no delegates will be awarded to the winner of the state's Democratic primary even though Clinton and Obama will be on the ballot.

But Democratic national committeeman Vince Powers says 5 of the state's superdelegates, who can vote for whomever they choose, should pledge to vote for whoever wins the primary on May 13.

Powers is 1 of those superdelegates. He plans to present his idea to the state party's central committee on Saturday.

4. Good
The Caucus is a TERRIBLE idea the way it was done. If I was a Republican and we continue to do this, I would stack the May ballot with initiatives, knowing voting turnout will be lower on our side.

6. Personally, my experience was okay in Omaha.
Granted they were not near ready for the crowds. That said, a caucus by its very nature prevents MANY manual labor workers from participating because of such a narrow time frame.
