Good Sign - things are changing
I took Ben to a college recruiting fair this afternoon in Lincoln. Probably about 100+ colleges had booths with academic program information. We went to our choices them strolled through the remaining displays.

One isle was ROTC, Air Force Academy, Naval Academy, Marines etc.
Nobody and I mean NOBODY - was checking out their information. The area around these military post high school displays was just deserted. Almost eerie. I watch as one teen came walking up the military isle, then he read the display and realized where he was.

He slowly turned and backed out...Oh It was great!

1. Bad news for the GOP and bad news for the country
It's more than sad when no one wants to join the military to get shot at in a war where we don't have a clue what we are fighting for or why we started it. The military is a wonderful opportunity for alot of young people that don't have anything else, but not if your going to get blown up in some godforsaken place where everyone hates you.
